Donna W. Kosak

Donna “Cookie” Kay Wills Kosak, 62, died Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at her residence. She was born on August 14, 1956 in Staunton to the late Clyde Miller and Madeline Armstrong Wills. She retired as an office administrator for over ten years with Black, Noland and Read, P.L.C.   She was a member of Annex United Methodist Church. Surviving family members include a son and daughter-in-law, Brad and Amber C. Kosak of Crimora; a brother and sister-in-law, Larry D. and Suzy M. Wills of Staunton; a sister and brother-in-law, Linda W. and Johnny Lane, Jr. of Staunton; two nephews, John L. Lane III and L. David Wills; a niece, Kimi B. Wills; four special great nephews, Max Lane, Jeremiah Lane, Grady Wills and Charlie Wills; and dear friends, Alan and Sharon Armentrout, J.B. and Leatha Harlow, Drew and Lisa Cashatt, Debbie Mize, Vicky Wilt, and Shirley Dana. A funeral service will be conducted at Annex United Methodist Church at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 26, 2018 by Rev. Gayle Thornberry. Burial will follow at Tinkling Spring Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be J. B. Harlow, Mark Smith, Stephen Shull, Drew Cashatt, Tim Harrison and Marc Rankin. Honorary pallbearers will be, Doug Keith, Bonnie Shifflett, Beatrice Conner, Crystal Thomas, Judy Edwards, Kim Flesher, Sharon and Alan Armentrout, Valerie Shull, Donna Davis, Norma Collier, Belva Clarke, and Jill Harrison. The family received friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Thursday, October 25, 2018 at Annex United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Annex UMC Benevolent Fund, Tinkling Spring Food Pantry or Cemetery Fund or Shenandoah Valley Animal Services Center, 1001, Mt. Torrey Road, Lyndhurst, VA, 22952. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Henry Funeral Home.
