BARBOURSVILLE, VA... Dorothy Lee (Frenger) Rowe, 84, widow of Earl Alwin Rowe, formerly of Staunton, died Friday, May 8, 2015, at her residence in Barboursville. She was born May 10, 1930, in Augusta County, a daughter of the late Bruce and Gladys (Cason) Frenger. She was a member of Bethany Presbyterian Church. Family members include a son and daughter-in-law, Sidney A. and Debby Rowe of Barboursville; two daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda Dianne and David Newman of Richmond and Sherry and Josh Urgolites of Waynesboro; and eight grandchildren, Paul Newman and his wife, Judy, Laura Lynn Shephard and her husband, Tripp, Christina Marie Wine, Michelle Nichole Wine, Justin Rowe, Quentin Rowe, and his wife, Jennifer, Korey Rowe and his wife, Tonia, and April Wheeler and her husband, William; thirteen great grandchildren; and a brother, Bruce Frenger. A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m., Tuesday, May 12, 2015 in Augusta Memorial Park by Rev. Lester LaPrade. The family wishes to express their appreciation to Dr. Niehaus and the staff at ASFHC and Hospice of the Piedmont for their care, compassion, and love they showed Dottie.
