VERONA, VA Douglas Hamlin Carpenter, Jr., 31, of 330 Skyview Circle, died October 29, 2015 in Verona. He was born May 1, 1984, in Augusta County a son of Douglas Hamlin Carpenter, Sr. and Melinda Sue (Eavers) Carpenter. He was employed by Z & Z Machine Company. In addition to his parents, family members include four children, Haley, Christian, Cathan, and Cayleb Carpenter; paternal grandparents, Otis G., Sr., and Mary E. Carpenter; maternal grandparents, Cecil and Phyllis Juanita Eavers, and special long-time companion, Jessica Lam. A private graveside service will be conducted in Oak Lawn Mausoleum and Memory Gardens.
