DOUGLAS E. DULL, JR. STAUNTON, VA Douglas Eugene Dull, Jr., 51, husband of Linda (Thornton) Dull, of 332 Yount Avenue, died Thursday, April 3, 2014, at his residence. He was born March 7, 1963, in Staunton, a son of Betty (Eckard) Rexrode and the late Douglas Eugene Dull, Sr. Mr. Dull was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was employed by FedEx Freight. He was a member of Marquis Memorial United Methodist Church. Douglas was an avid fan of NASCAR and dirt track racing. He was preceded in death by a special grandmother, Mary Katherine Sensabaugh and a daughter, Heather Nichole Dull. In addition to his wife, family members include a daughter, Heidi Noel Dull and her boyfriend, Joseph Frye; a son, Travis Eugene Dull; and a sister, Shirley Spitler. A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 8, 2014, in Marquis Memorial United Methodist Church by the Rev. Bob W. Sharp. Burial will follow in Oak Lawn Mausoleum and Memory Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Timothy Hevener, Stewart Powell, Jeff Shull, Delano Jack, Douglas Stagarra, and Bruce Lamond. Honorary pallbearers will be the employees of FedEx Freight. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Sunday, April 6, 2014, in the Henry Funeral Home.
