Dwayne Scott Loyd

STAUNTON, VA Dwayne Scott Loyd, 50, of Staunton died Sunday, December 23, 2012 at his residence. He was born on October 22, 1962 in Rockingham County, a son of Mr. Donald Loyd of Staunton and Dorothy (Griffith) Loyd of Verona. He is survived by his life-time companion, Thelma Bright; two sons, Allen Scott Loyd of Staunton and Jason Scott Loyd of Harrisonburg; a brother, Donald Loyd, Jr. of Grottoes; a half-brother, Robert Griffith of Verona; two sisters, Dana Jackson of Verona and Kristy Beverage of Staunton; and a special brother-in-law, Howard Beverage. He was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Ray Loyd. He was a kind, good hearted individual who was quick to help a friend in need. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him. There will be no services.
