Dalton Ray Greenlee, 24, passed away on Tuesday, February 23, 2021, at UVA University Hospital.
Dalton was born March 26, 1996, the son of Kimberly S. Harman and Raymond E. Greenlee.
Dalton was known for his contagious smile who brought joy to all around him. He was hardworking, kind, compassionate, a wonderful father, partner and provider who loved spending time with his son, Grayson. He enjoyed cooking and creating new dishes with Danielle, he loved spending time with his family, playing online video games with his friends and he always went out of his way for others. Dalton was an organ donor and gave the gift of life to several individuals.
He was a member of Marquis Memorial United Methodist Church and was employed by Danone North America.
He was preceded in death by grandfather, Carl Allison.
In addition to his parents, Dalton is survived by his partner, Danielle Dawn McPherson, and their son, Grayson Dean Greenlee of Staunton; his sister, Karrington Alexandria Greenlee of Northern Virginia; grandparents Patsy Allison of Swoope, Jerry and Wendy Harman of Staunton, and Freda Greenlee of Delaware; uncle, Mark Harman of Swoope; aunt and uncle, Alicia and Julio Sandoval of Fishersville, aunt, Karen Allison of Staunton, aunt, Robyn Drewry of Roanoke; cousin, Maite Sandoval of Fishersville; numerous extended family members; best friend Ryan Powell; and Prestyn Houff, his little gaming buddy who looked up to him.
A private family service will be held.
