Daniel L. Surratt

Daniel Lee Surratt, 71, husband of Rosetta Mae (Clifton) Surratt, passed away on June 13, 2022 at UVA Medical Center.

Mr. Surratt was born on October 6, 1950 in Staunton to the late Chester and Dorothy (Lotts) Surratt.

Daniel worked for 33 years for UPS and was an auctioneer since 1976. He volunteered for the local food bank and had over 20 years working for the Special Olympics. He was dearly loved and will never be forgotten.

In addition to his wife of 54 years, he is survived by his son, Michael R. Surratt; his brother, David Wayne Surratt (Janet); his sister, Linda Smith (Jerry); his two grandchildren, Madeline Olivia Surratt and Chloe Miranda Surratt; and a number of beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 16, 2022 from 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM at Henry Funeral Home. The family will not be receiving friends at the residence.

A chapel service will be held on Friday, June 17, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel. The burial will be private.
