David William “Ro” McCarty, 64, passed away on December 5, 2021 in Staunton, Va. He was born on October 26, 1957, a son of the late Charles William McCarty and Nellie Rae (McClain) McCarty. Ro was employed by Jim Losh Construction for 25 years and Mike Stone Construction for 10 years. He also worked on a dairy farm for several years on Buttermilk Spring Road. Survivors include his sisters, Teresa Young, Tina Hines, Vicki Waybright, Dreama Keller, Faith Provencal, numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family. He was preceded in death by a sister, Janet Rae Wood, and a brother, Charles Michael McCarty. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 11, 2021, at 10 a.m. in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Rick Diehl. The family will receive friends following the service. (Masks will be required.) The service will be live-streamed via the Henry Funeral Home Facebook page.
