Donna D. Clifton
Donna Denise (Butler) Clifton, 57, wife of Thomas “Tommy” Lind Clifton, passed away Saturday, September 3, 2022 at her residence.
She was born on May 27, 1965 in Staunton.
Mrs. Clifton was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and was about to be a great-grandmother.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her mother, Glenda (Rowe) Powell and step-father, Stewart Powell; her sons, Richard “Lee” Clifton and wife Daphne of Grottoes, Michael Clifton and wife Erika of Staunton and Christopher Clifton and wife Julie of Staunton; nine grandchildren, John, Eislee, Easten, Haylee, Savannah, Nathaniel, Jiona, Kayleigh, and Cohen; one great grandchild, Ayana; a great nephew, Brycn Butler who she raised; and two sisters, Gail Lawhorne and Sherry Swecker.
She is preceded in death by her father, Roger Butler; Aunt Loretta Staton, and a cousin, Brittany Engleman.
A Memorial Service will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Saturday, September 10, 2022 at Living Grace Ministries by Pastor Randall Black.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Living Grace Ministries, 2026 Lyndhurst Road, Waynesboro, VA, 22980.
