Edna Maxine Duff

EDNA W. DUFFSTAUNTON, VA...Edna Maxine (Waybright) Duff, 86, widow of Rev. Daniel Harrison Duff, Sr., of 133 Cow Pasture Lane, went to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday, February 2, 2016, at her residence.She was born October 13, 1929, in Highland County, a daughter of the late Fred and Laura (Lantz) Waybright.Prior to retirement, Mrs. Duff was employed by Western State Hospital.She was a member of Grottoes Church of God.Family members include four sons and two daughters-in-law, Daniel H., Jr., and Donna Duff of Raphine, Charles E. and Patricia Duff of Greenville, Roger Lee Duff, and fiance` Mickie Towman, of Fishersville, and Jerry Wayne Duff and spouse, Rodney Cline of Stuarts Draft; two daughters and a son-in-law, Barbara Ann Bartley and fiance`, Robert Brown, of Staunton and Patty Lou and James Sorrells of Staunton; a sister, Connie Wolfe; 12 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and four great, great grandchildren.A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 6, 2016, in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Glenn Hughes, Rev. James McIntosh, and Rev. Dr. Thomas Jammes. Burial will follow in Augusta Memorial Park.Active pallbearers will be Lester Hughes, Lewis Hughes, Keith Jones, Jerry Parker, Jamie Staton, and Benjamini Johnson.The family will receive friends from 6:30 until 8:30 p.m. Friday, February 5, 2016 in the funeral home.Memorials may be made to Grottoes Church of God, 103 3rd Street, Grottoes, VA 24441.A special thank you to Augusta Health Hospice of the Shenandoah.
