EDNA C. REXRODE STAUNTON, VA Edna Grace (Cauley) Rexrode, 80, widow of Lee Roy Rexrode, of 2211 Third Street, died Tuesday, November 19, 2013, at her daughter's residence. She was born September 5, 1933, in Hot Springs, a daughter of the late Clarence Cauley and Mabel (Cauley) Lucas. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church. Family members include a daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Gerry Shifflett of Elkton; a brother, Roy Cauley of Stuarts Draft; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Wilma and Lacy Wriston of Hot Springs, Barbara Jo and JD Stover of Vinton; four grandchildren, Michael Biery and fiancé, Moneeka Chapman, of Staunton, Megan Mitchell and husband, TJ, of Shenandoah, Kristin Frazier and husband, William, of Charlottesville, Dakota "Cody" Shifflett of Elkton, and a step-grandson, Bradley Dale Shifflett and wife, Leah, of Florida; and eight great grandchildren, Shayne, Kierstynn, and Branson Frazier, Tye and Haleigh Mitchell, Avery and Kainen Shifflett, and Landyn Biery. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Cauley and a sister, Emma Louis Baldwin A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Friday, November 22, 2013 in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Brandon Carter. Burial will follow in Augusta Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday, November 21, 2013 at the funeral home.
