Edwin W. Bright, Jr. STAUNTON, VA Edwin Winter Bright Jr., 66, of Staunton, passed away on Tuesday, October 8, 2013. He was born August 31, 1947, in Staunton, a son of the late Edwin W., Sr. and Antha (Wright) Bright. Edwin was a veteran of the United States Navy. He attended ClearView Church. Prior to retirement, Mr. Bright was a former Deputy Sheriff and Probation Officer for Augusta County. He is survived by a maternal aunt and uncle; Marion Wright Clark and Ray Wright Sr; and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by a son, Kevin Winter Bright; a daughter, Kandace Lynn Bright; and a brother, Terence Lee Bright A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, November 5, 2013 in Thornrose Cemetery by Pastor John Hamric.
