Eleanor Elizabeth Andrus

ELEANOR R. ANDRUS LEXINGTON, VA Eleanor Elizabeth (Rice) Andrus, 72, wife of Roland Leon Andrus, of 1114 Mt. Atlas Road, died Monday, August 6, 2012, Roanoke Memorial Hospital. She was born February 16, 1940 in Becket, Massachusetts a daughter of the late Charles and Agnes (Broga) Rice. In addition to her husband, family members include a son, Roland L. Andrus, Jr., of Raphine; four daughters, Catherine Millien of Raphine, Jennifer Andrus of Lexington, Deborah Andrus of Lexington, and Patricia Andrus of Raphine; a sister, Marlene Jenson of Ormond Beach, Florida; nine grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Rice. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, August 11, 2012, the home of her daughter. Henry Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
