Eleanor Anne Sherry

ELEANOR A. SHERRY STAUNTON, VA Eleanor Anne (MacDowell) Sherry, 84, wife of John Ernest Sherry, of 21 Woodlee Road, died Saturday, July 27, 2013, at King's Daughter's Community Health and Rehab Center. She was born January 13, 1929, in Batavia, New York, a daughter of the late Clarence and Nicolas Shaw (Smith) MacDowell. Prior to retirement, Mrs. Sherry was an editor in chief for Congressional Research Service. In addition to her husband, family members include five sons, Travis Fullerton of Seattle, WA, James Fullerton of Rockville, MD, Michael Fullerton of Eugene, OR, David Fullerton of Washington, DC, and Edward Fullerton of Santa Monica, CA.; two brothers, Robert MacDowell of King of Prussia, PA, and John MacDowell of Penn Yan, NY; twenty grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren. There will be no public viewing or visitation. Henry Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
