ELIZABETH ANN GUM FULTZ CHURCHVILLE, VA…Elizabeth Ann Gum Fultz, 87, of Churchville passed away on Tuesday, September 5th at her residence. Born on November 29, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Berlin F. Gum and Goldie B. (Hunter) Gum. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was a 1947 graduate of North River High School and prior to retirement she was a realtor with Wright & Co. Realtors. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, George T. Gill, III; two brothers, John H. Gum, DDS and Berlin F. Gum, Jr.; a sister, Lucille Gum Bartley; and a niece, Margaret Gum Booth. She is survived by three daughters, Rhonda M. Gill, Teresa M. Elliott and Melissa M. Kelley and two very special grandsons, William J. Elliott, V, and Ryan H. Elliott. Also surviving is an aunt, Jean Gum Lightner, sister-in-law, Nancy L. Gum, nephews, Timmy Gum, Barry Gum, Bruce Bartley, Scott Bartley, John Gum, Jr. and Eddie Gum, a niece, Carol Craig, and a special niece-in-law, Joan Gum. All services will be private. The family will receive friends at the home of her daughter, Teresa Elliott, 99 Stayman Lane, Staunton, on Saturday, September 9th between 4 and 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Churchville Volunteer Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 608, Churchville, VA 24421. Henry Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
