ELIZABETH S. LILLY STAUNTON Elizabeth Charlene (Smith) Lilly, 89,wife of Robert Lilly, passed away Thursday November 15, 2012 in the Kings Daughters Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born June 8, 1923, a daughter of the late Charles and Nancy (Mitchell) Smith. She was a lifetime member of Arbor Hill Church of Brethren. Prior to retirement, she was employed at GE. In addition to her husband, family members include two sons and daughter -in-law; John Lotts of Waynesboro and the late Judy Lotts, Harry and Patricia Lotts of Staunton; one daughter and son-in-law; Barbara and Earl Clifton of Staunton; eleven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers and six sisters. Mrs. Lilly was the last surviving member of her immediate family. A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday November 17, 2012 at Arbor Hill Church of the Brethren by the Rev. Grant Simmons. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. Active Pallbearers will be Jeff Randolph, Barry Lotts, Aaron Clifton, Rodney Freeman, Bradley Freeman, and Robert Strawway. Honorary Pallbearers will be her granddaughters. The family will receive friends from 6:30-8 p.m. Friday November 16, 2012 in the Henry Funeral Home. A special thanks to Legacy Hospice and Kings Daughters Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
