ELLA B. REDMAN STAUNTON, VA Ella Jean (Brown) Redman, 79, died Wednesday, May 14, 2014, at her residence. She was born January 20, 1935, in Staunton, a daughter of the late Walter Cleveland and Mary Estelle (Reid) Brown. Prior to retirement, she was employed by Western State Hospital as a psychiatric nurse's aide with 27 years of service. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Family members include two sons, Leonard Robinson of Waynesboro and Steven Robinson of Staunton; two daughters, Gloria Buster and Sherry Berkley, both of Staunton; three grandsons, Leonard L. Robinson III, Hosea Berkley, Jr., and Devyn Casey; and six great grandchildren, Naliyah, Niyanna, Nilinna and Niel Berkley, Jaylen and Bryce Robinson. A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Michael Turner. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
