Elsie Mae Cash

ELSIE M. CASH STAUNTON -- Mrs. Elsie Mae (Armstrong) Cash, 79, of 1131 Montgomery Avenue, died on Saturday (December 3, 2011) in Shenandoah House, Fishersville. She was born June 23, 1932 in Augusta County. Elsie retired from Genesco L Grief after thirty-six years of service. Survivors include a son, Ronnie L. Cash and his fiancé, Nancy Overby of Churchville; a daughter and son-in-law, Brenda J. and Roscoe W. Griffin of Staunton; four grandchildren, Scottie Cash, Danny Cash, John Griffin, and Allen Griffin; five great grandchildren, Brandon Griffin, Claire Griffin, Damon Cash, Destiny Cash, and Elizabeth Cash; and her special friends at King's Daughters Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, where she worked for nine years. She was preceded in death by five brothers, Homer, Randolph, Elmer, Raymond, and Louis; former husband, Glenn Cash; and special companion, Charles "Sonny" Gilmer. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday (December 6, 2011) at Thornrose Cemetery by Pastor Golden C. Clark, Jr. Pallbearers will be Ricky Clifton, Ryan Clifton, John Griffin, and Ronald Gibson. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 Momday, (December 5, 2011) at Henry Funeral Home.
