Emory Herbert Biby

EMORY H. BIBY STAUNTON, VA Emory Herbert Biby, 81, of 25 Plaza Drive, died Friday, April 26, 2013, at Augusta Health, Fishersville. He was born on September 1, 1931, in Augusta County, to the late Herbert Samuel and Bessie Mae (Tyree) Biby. Prior to retirement, he was employed by the DeJarnette Sanitorium. Mr. Biby served in the National Guard from May 1949 to May 1955. He was an avid Redskins and NASCAR fan. He had a great sense of humor and loved country music. Family members include five children, Sherri Berry, Terry Porch, Scott Biby, Malinda Biby, and Jacqualine Biby; a step-son, Jeff Biby; two brothers, Jerry Biby and Billy Biby; 13 grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Magaline Thompson and a brother, Cletus Biby. A memorial service will be conducted at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 30, 2013, in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Charles A. McFarlin.
