ENIE C. HARRIS STAUNTON, VA Enie Eris (Campbell) Harris, 87, widow of Gene Winston Harris, of 3135 Morris Mill Road, died Sunday, April 7, 2013, at Shenandoah Nursing Home. She was born on January 13, 1926, in Augusta County, to the late Naomi Blanche Campbell Snyder. She was raised by her grandparents. Prior to retirement, she was a stockroom clerk at McCroy's Five and Dime for many years. She was a member of Third Presbyterian Church. Family members include a son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy W. and Teresa Harris of Fishersville; two daughters and sons-in-law, Jacqueline H. and Jimmy Wood of Mt. Sidney and Wanda J. and Willard A. Botkin, Sr. of Staunton; a sister, Betty Phyllis Campbell; a half-brother, Boyd Snyder; six grandchildren, Deeann Furr, Keith W. Ashby and his wife, Debbie, Willard A. Botkin, Jr., Stephanie Schoeller and her husband, Mark, Kaitlyn Harris, and Matthew Harris; and three great grandchildren, Brandon Botkin, whom she raised, Cameron Ashby, and Justin Ashby. In addition to her husband and step father, Richard Snyder, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Jean H. Lamb; a brother, Howard Campbell; and a great grandson, Nicholas Allen Botkin. A funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday, April 11, 2013 in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Jack Wilkers. Burial will follow in Oak Lawn Mausoleum and Memory Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Brandon Botkin, W.A. Botkin, Jr., Freddie Ashby, Mark Schoeller, Jimmy Harris, and Willard A. Botkin, Sr. Honorary pallbearers will be friends and family attending the service. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at Henry Funeral Home. The family has requested no public viewing. The family would like to send a heartfelt thanks to the entire staff of Shenandoah Nursing Home for their loving care.
