Erhard Kurt Marwin

ERHARD K. MARWIN STAUNTON, VA Erhard Kurt Marwin, 83, widower of Lieselotte Krause Marwin, of 2212 Bare Street, died, Monday, July 29, 2013, at his residence. He was born December 19, 1929, in Danzig, Germany, a son of the late Kurt August and Erna (Sarotsky) Marwin. Prior to retirement, Mr. Marwin was a master tailor and worked for Young Men's Shop, Charlottesville. He also worked for Eljo's and Ed Michtoms, Charlottesville. He was a member of Pleasant View Evangelical Lutheran Church. Family members include two daughters, Pamela C. Dabney of Swoope and her fiancé, John L. Willis, and Elisabeth E. Rankin and husband, Dale L., of Churchville; a cousin, Werner Marwin of Germany; seven grandchildren, Kody Beaver, Stephanie Carr, Travis Beaver, Sarah Dabney, Josh Rankin, Korey Rankin, and Alex Rankin; and one great grandchild, Rhylea Carr. A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, August 1, 2013, in Oak Lawn Mausoleum and Memory Gardens by the Rev. Kenneth Price.
