Esther Louise Frye

HOT SPRINGS, VA Esther Louise (Baumgardner)Frye, 97, widow of LeRoy George Frye, of Staunton, passed away Thursday, March 12, 2015 in Bath County Community Hospital. Mrs. Frye was born on August 12, 1917 in Reed, MD, a daughter of the late John and Mary (Wolfinger) Baumgardner. She enjoyed sewing, collecting antiques and cooking. But mostly, she loved spending time with family. She is survived by a son, Dr. Donald L. Frye; two grandsons, Mark A. Walker, M.D. and Virgil L. Hottinger; a granddaughter, Nicole L. Frye; a son-in-law, Kim Walker; and a number of nephews, nieces and cousins. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Barbara Ann Hottinger and Constance Lee Walker; two brothers; and two sisters. A graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 21, 2015 in Lovettsville Union Cemetery, Lovettsville, VA.
