ETHEL C. COLEMAN BRIDGEWATER, VA Ethel Marie (Clark) Coleman, 86, widow of Walter Marcus Coleman, Jr., of Bridgewater Nursing Home, died Wednesday, February 4, 2015, at Sentara Rockingham Memorial Hospital, Harrisonburg. She was born February 18, 1928, in Raphine, a daughter of the late James H. and Ollie Mae (Mays) Clark. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Teresa Ann Coleman. Family members include a son and daughter-in-law, Ernest L. and Julie King of Yakima, Washington; two daughters and son-in-law, Darlene Coleman and spouse, Rachel Bavister of Staunton and Tammy and Guy Lam of McGaheysville; a sister, Alice Irene Kelly of Ladd; eight grandchildren, Amy and Mark Gilligan of Chesapeake, Dwayne and Lynn Lam of Weyers Cave, Willie Lam of McGaheysville, Derek Mowbray and Missy of Grottoes, Laura Mowbray of Broadway, Ginnie and Jason Lee of Eden Prairie, MN, Jason King, of Tumwater, WA, and Paul and Angie King of Lake Stevens, WA; and nine great grandchildren. A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday, February 8, 2015, in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Lee Lawrence, Jr. Burial will follow in Old Providence ARP Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Saturday, February 7, 2015, in the funeral home.
