Eugene Franklin Sharp

EUGENE F. SHARP  STAUNTON, VA… Eugene Franklin Sharp, 90, died Wednesday, March 1, 2017 in Staunton. He was born September 22, 1926, in Staunton a son of the late Frank McKinley and Viola Mae (Parnel) Sharp. Mr. Sharp was a veteran of the U. S. Navy having served during World War II. Prior to retirement, he was employed by the Staunton City School Board as a maintenance supervisor. Family members include a son, David Sharp of Staunton; two sisters, Barbara A. Sharp and Margaret Frances Britt; two grandchildren, D. J. Sharp and Melissa Foster; six great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Christine Wade. As was his request, there were no services. Henry Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
