ELIZABETH G. CRICKENBERGER   STUARTS DRAFT, VA…             Elizabeth Gilbert Crickenberger, 88, a resident of Stuarts Draft Retirement Community, died Thursday afternoon, December 3, 2015, at Augusta Health.   She was a daughter of the late O.W. Sr. and Georgia Gilbert, and was born on January 20, 1927, in Augusta County, and graduated from Mt. Sidney High School and Dunsmore Business College.               Mrs. Crickenberger was an active member of Barren Ridge Church of the Brethren where she was a former organist and pianist.  She enjoyed being a homemaker, time spent with family and friends, gardening, music, her card ministry, and visiting the sick and shut-ins with her friend Doris Phillips.  For the past 10 years, a highlight of her life was moving to Stuarts Draft Retirement Community and participating in many activities with her special friends there.  She was well known as the “Egg Lady” in the Waynesboro community.               On November 18, 1948, she married Harry Earl Crickenberger, who preceded her in death on February 17, 1993.               Surviving are two daughters, Ruth Anne (Lynn) Sullivan of Barren Ridge and Rita Cline of Hardy; two sons, Roger (Rose) Crickenberger of Clayton, NC and Ronnie (Roxice) Crickenberger of Waynesboro; nine grandchildren who dearly loved “Granny Crick”, O.J. (Amy) Crickenberger, Correna (Nathan) Mongold, Karen Crickenberger (Donnie Strother), Jamie Crickenberger (Ari LeClair), Jason Crickenberger, Pamela (Jason) Fisher, Teresa (Jason) Wright, Mark Cline (Jessica Perry), Joe Cline (Sarah Bell); and eight great grandchildren.           Also surviving are two sisters, Emma Louise Grant of Staunton and Pauline Miller of Harrisonburg; one brother, O.W. Gilbert Jr. of Staunton; one brother-in-law, Ray Crickenberger of Fern Park, FL; two sisters-in-law, Reba Patterson of Grottoes and Elizabeth Stephenson of Chattanooga, TN; and a number of nieces and nephews.               She was preceded in death by two sisters, Virginia Ocheltree and Arlene Crickenberger and a son-in-law, Lynn Cline.             Memorial services will be held Sunday afternoon, December 6, at 3 p.m. at Barren Ridge Church of the Brethren with Pastor Galen Combs officiating.  A private burial will be held earlier in the day.             There will be no formal visitation.  Family and friends may call at the home of Lynn and Ruth Anne, 195 Old Mill Road, Staunton, VA.             In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Barren Ridge Church of the Brethren, c/o Women’s Fellowship, 1790 Barren Ridge Road, Staunton, VA 24401 or Christian Appalachian Project, P.O.
