She moved to Bridgehampton in 1956. In her children’s early years, Elizabeth stayed home, but in later years she did many jobs outside of the home. She was a cook at Crasper’s Restaurant and The Stage Door, she cleaned homes for many summer residents, and she worked in Grants, first starting on the floor then moving to the office. When Grant’s was closed, and Wilco and then Caldor’s came in, they hired her right back.             Elizabeth loved to work outside. For many years she had a large garden at her daughter’s house and enjoyed working in it each night…topped off with a walk in the fields. She enjoyed cooking, especially cookies, for her grandchildren and making hats and mittens for her granddaughters day care.             As a member of the Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Church. She was known as a small quiet, sweet woman, and will be missed by many.             In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to one of the following, Hospice of the Shenandoah, 64 Sports Medicine Drive, Fishersville, VA 22939, Riverheads Fire Department, 49 Swatzel Shop Road, Staunton, VA 24401, Bridgehampton Fire Department, P.O.
