Faye Harrah

FAYE S. HARRAH FERNLEY, NV Faye (Smiley) Harrah, 70, wife of Robert "Bob" Fred Harrah, of 110 Country Ranch Road, Fernley, NV, and formally of Staunton died Wednesday, November 28, 2012. She was born June 12, 1942, in Staunton, a daughter of the late William Guy, Sr., and Viola May (McLear) Smiley. Faye was a loving, giving, outgoing and humorous person who will be missed by all that knew her. In addition to her husband, family members include a daughter, Tammy Sue Gardner and grandson, Jacob Allen Guagenti both of Montrose, CO; a sister, Janet Grine; a special niece, Krystal Goff; a number of nieces and nephews; and two beloved cats, Tom and Jerry. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Doris Whitesell, Betty Gay, and Martha Caldwell; a brother, William Guy Smiley, Jr.; and a niece, Cheryl Staples. A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 15, 2012, in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Bobby Campbell. Burial will follow in Oak Lawn Mausoleum and Memory Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Lee Goff, Matthew Goff, John H. Craig, III, Scott Craig, Josh Goff, and Ben Caldwell. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Gay, Jr. and Dwight Gay. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at the home of her niece, Krystal Goff, 107 Audubon Street, Staunton.
