Florence M. Bonos

STAUNTON. Florence M. (Korkes) Bonos, 82,widow of Louis R. Bonos Sr., passed away Saturday April 26, 2014 at Emeritus of Staunton. She was born March 14, 1932 in Montville, NJ, a daughter of the late George and Mary (Olsenwick) Korkes. Prior to retirement, Mrs. Bonos was employed by M&M Mars. She attended St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. She was a loving wife to her husband of 52 years, a loving mother, sister, grandmother and will be deeply missed. Survivors include a son Louis R. Bonos Jr and wife, Lynn, of Staunton; a daughter Judith Bonos Knisley and husband Jim, of North Carolina; two brothers, George "Buddy" Korkes and wife , Millie of Hawaii, Robert Korkes and wife Marge of Florida; a sister, Carol Fusco and partner Karl Larson, of New Jersey; and four grandchildren; Ryan Bonos, Zachary Leh, Jamie Bonos, and Joshua Leh; and numerous nieces and nephews.
