Fortunata Frances Snyder

FRANCES SNYDER FAIRFAX, VA On December 18, Fortunata "Frances" DePasquale Snyder, a long-time resident of Charles Town, WV and, most recently, Fairfax Nursing Center, Fairfax, VA, died at Inova Fair Oaks Hospital. Born June 19, 1922 in Johnstown, PA to Providenza and Fillipo DePaqsquale, Frances was the beloved wife and "Honey" of the late Webster "Web" Snyder. Frances is survived by her children Diana (Gene) Narragon, Florence Marr, and Floyd Snyder, as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Parents, siblings, sons Philip and Edgar, and son-in-law Wade Marr were waiting at the gates of heaven with her "Webbie Honey" as he embraced her once again after 60 years of marriage. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 p.m Saturday, December 22, 2012, at Henry Funeral Home, Staunton, VA, with a graveside service immediately following at 2 p.m. in Thornrose Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of the Panhandle, Inc., 122 Waverly Court, Martinsburg, WV 25403 in loving memory of Frances and Webster Snyder.
