Frances Ann Gross

FRANCES S. GROSS STAUNTON, VA Frances Anna (Sammet) Gross, 92, wife of William A. "Bill" Gross, of 110 Essex Drive, died Tuesday, August 4, 2015, in Shenandoah Nursing Home. She was born June 11, 1923, in Seattle, Washington, a daughter of the late Henry Frederick and Mary (Gunderson) Sammet. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church. In addition to her husband, family members include two sons, Rev. Dr. Frederick M. Holbrook and Seth Holbrook; a daughter, Mary Elizabeth Smith; nine grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be conducted at 1 p.m., Saturday August 22, 2015 in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Dr. Frederick M. Holbrook.
