STAUNTON, VA.. Ruby Frances (Argenbright) Hemp Hall, 84, wife of Donald L. Hall, of 836 North Augusta Street, died Saturday, June 9, 2012, at Augusta Health, Fishersville. She was born August 28, 1927 in Augusta County, a daughter of the late George and Ruby (Coffman) Argenbright. Mrs. Hall was previously employed as a seamstress by Tommie's Pajama Factory and Genesco, and later by Southers Greenhouse. She also served in numerous positions for the Stonewall Jackson Boy Scout Council. She was a member of Hebron Presbyterian Church, and a life member of VFW Post 2216 Ladies Auxillary. In addition to her husband, family members include two daughters and sons-in law, Wanda and Ronnie Nuckoles of Davenport, FL and Joyce and Harry Dull of Staunton; four grandchildren, Ronnie Nuckoles and wife Tina, Christopher Dull, Kevin Dull and wife Megan, Michelle Davis and husband Rod; six great grandchildren, Tyler and Sidney Nuckoles, Morgan Rowe, Cameron and Lexi Dull, and Blake Dull; a sister Dorothy Back and husband Frank; two special nephews John Hildebrand and wife Linda, and Barry Argenbright and wife, Evelyn; two step-children, Robin Rice, and Michael Hall; nine step-grandchildren, Neal Hall and wife Kristie, Becky Medlin and husband Travis, Nicholas Hall, Bethany Hicks and husband Jay, Renee Ricks, Travis Masincup, Heather Varner and Jamie and Jeremy Merrill; and a number of step-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Vernon Walter Hemp, Sr., a son, Vernon "Sonny" Walter Hemp, Jr.; brothers Clyde and George Argenbright; sisters Ellen Wagner, Mary Hildebrand, Annie Arehart and Minnie Siple; and a step-son, Craig Hall. A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 12, 2012, at Hebron Presbyterian Church by the Rev. Frank Wyche and Dr. Rev. Steve Traylor. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Michael Hall, Nicholas Hall, Bobby Back, Tony Hildebrand, Jean Rouse and Mack McCauley. Honorary pallbearers will be ladies and gentlemen of VFW Post 2216, and nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 p.m. Monday, June 11, 2012 at Henry Funeral Home.
