FRANCES P. KNIGHTSTAUNTON, VA...Frances Ann (Palmer) Knight, 80, widow of John Knight, of 656 Frog Pond Road, died Sunday, December 20, 2015, at Augusta Health, Fishersville.She was born June 1, 1935, in Staunton, a daughter rof the late Elmer and Ruby (Monroe) Palmer.She attended Faith Baptist Church.In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by a son, Russell Palmer.Family members include a son, James Knight of Staunton; a daughter, Debra A. Hoy of Staunton; a brother, William P. Palmer of Swoope; a sister, Ruth Ellen "Nancy" Maxwell of Winchester; grandchildren, Rachel Marie Potter of Waynesboro, Shannon Renae Reavis of Staunton, Russell, Crystal, Tony, and Billy Palmer; and ten great granchdildren. A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 26, 2015 in the Henry Funeral HOme Chapel by Pastor Eric Brown. Burial will be held at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery.The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
