Frank Harold Rexrode

FRANK H. REXRODE Staunton, VA Frank Harold Rexrode, 74, Widower of Jeanne Mae (Mantay) Rexrode, Staunton, died Wednesday, January 16, 2013 in Augusta Health, Fishersville. He was born January 3, 1939, in Crabbottom, a son of the late George W. and Anna May (Grogg) Rexrode. Prior to retiring he was employed by Genicom and GE with 30 years of service. He was a veteran of the US Marine Corp. He was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church. He was also a member of the American Legion Post 13 of Staunton, the Augusta-Staunton VFW Post 2216 and he was also a member of the Wednesday night men's bowling league. Family members include a daughter, Stephanie Rexrode of Staunton; two brothers Glenn Rexrode and Billy Rexrode both of Staunton. In addition to his wife, he was also preceded in death by a brother Tiny Rexrode; and a sister, Frances Rexrode Greaver. The funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, January 19, 2013, at Bethany Lutheran Church by Pastor Timothy Bohlmann. The burial will follow at Trinity Lutheran Church cemetery. Active pallbearers will be members of Staunton American Legion Post 13 and the Augusta-Staunton VFW Post 2216. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday, January 18, 2013, at Henry Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
