Frank Eugene "Sonnie" Beverage

FRANK E. BEVERAGE  FISHERSVILLE, VA… Frank Eugene “Sonnie” Beverage, 81, widower of Ionia Louvon (Corbett) Beverage, of Fishersville, died Sunday, January 8, 2017 at his residence. He was born April 2, 1935 in Highland County, a son of the late Marvin Lee Beverage Sr. and Sadie (Halterman) Beverage Folks. Mr. Beverage was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Prior to retirement, he was employed by Augusta Petroleum. He was a master plumber and pipe fitter.  Frank was a member of Waynesboro Advent Christian Church. Family members include three daughters, Betty Rogers-Leavel and husband, Scott, of Fishersville, Pennie Carroll and Teresa Arbogast and husband, John, all of Staunton; a son, Allen Beverage and fiancé, Sue Ralston, of Fishersville; seven grandchildren, Danny Serrett and wife, Michelle, Tammy Roberts and husband, J.C., Jonathan Rogers, Brian Beverage and wife, Erin, Cody Carroll, Rebekah Carroll, and William Arbogast and fiancé, Leah Pugh; 14 great grandchildren, Tyler Serrett, James Painter, Lindsay, Emily and Hunter Roberts,  Trenton, Samantha, Trinity, Kiley and Cadence Rogers, Cole and Hayden Arbogast, and Austin and Kelsie Serrett; and a great great granddaughter, Addalynn Roberts; a sister-in-law, Catherine Beverage;  a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Melvin and Johnie Corbett; his special fuzzy children, Smokey, Sissy, Pretty Girl and Bootsie; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, whom he married September 8, 1953, he was preceded in death by a brother, Marvin Lee Beverage Jr.; a sister, Betty Maxine Beverage; a grandson, Michael Arbogast; two sons-in-law, Donald Rogers and Freddie Carroll; and a daughter-in-law, Carolyn Beverage. A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, January 13, 2017 in Augusta Memorial Park by Chaplain Mark Westebbe. Active pallbearers will be William Arbogast, Danny Serrett, Brian Beverage, Cody Carroll, Rebekah Carroll, and Tyler Serrett. The family will receive friends from, 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday, January 12, 2017 in the Henry Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1445 E.
