Fayth Delores Carmack

FAYTH M. CARMACK STAUNTON - Fayth Delores (Armstrong) McWhorter Carmack, 73, wife of Rick L. Carmack, Jr. died at 8:02 a.m. on Tuesday (June 9, 2015) at her residence. She was born October 2, 1941 in West Augusta, daughter of the late Russell T., Sr. and Lula V. (Huffer) Armstrong. She retired from First Merit Bank as a Mortgage File Specialist. In addition to her husband, family includes three daughters and sons-in-law, Lynn (McWhorter) and Joe St. John of Mechanicsville, Diana (McWhorter) and Greg Bowen, and Pamela (McWhorter) and John Dixon, all of Staunton; a brother, Russell T. Armstrong, Jr. of West Augusta; six grandchildren, Michaela, Mariah, and Montana Welcher, Joel and Jordan St. John, and John Dixon, Jr.; two great grandchildren, Adrianna and Caleb; and her special friend, Sonja Copeland of Mansfield, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, and a brother. A memorial service will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, June 12, 2015 in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
