Garry David Parrish

GARRY D. PARRISH STAUNTON, VA…Garry David Parrish, 59, of Staunton, died Friday, June 30, 2017 at his residence. He was born October 23, 1957 in Staunton, a son of the late William Lucian “Bill” and Doris (Craig) Parrish. Mr. Parrish was employed by Fauber Freightways with 17 plus years of service. Family members include a son, David Parrish; two daughters, Jennifer Parrish and Sarah Shaner; a brother, Billy Parrish; a sister and brother-in-law, Teresa and Jerry Tisdale; a granddaughter, Piper Parrish; and an aunt, Peggy Snyder. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Ashley Parrish. A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 8, 2017 in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Dale Meyerhoeffer. Burial will follow in Barren Ridge Church of the Brethren Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Jeff Sykes, Bobby Barker, Benny Whitesell, George Hill, Joe Troxell, Chuck Myers, Jason Snyder, Gary Miller, and Tony Rankin. The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 p.m. Friday, July 7, 2017 in the funeral home.
