GARY C. QUICK WAYNESBORO, VA… Gary Clifford Quick, 73, of 2308 Davis Road, Waynesboro, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 28, 2016. He was born April 5, 1943, in Staunton. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Linda Ann (Clark) Quick and father, S. M. (Junior) Quick. He graduated from Wilson Memorial High School Class of 1960. He retired from E. I. DuPont Company of Waynesboro with 41 years of service. He was a member of the Augusta County Sheriff’s Reserves for 24 years. He was an Army Reservist from 1964 to 1970. He is survived by his mother, Dorothy L. Quick; a son, Gary Clifford Quick, II; a daughter, Christine Michelle Jackson; a sister, Glenna Quick; a sister-in-law, Sharon C. and husband, Alan Armentrout, all of Staunton;; three grandchildren, Dakota Allen Jackson and wife, Becca, Georgia Alexis Jackson and Terance David Foster; and one great granddaughter, Alyssa Jaide Jackson, all of Waynesboro. He will be cremated and a private burial will be at a later date.A Memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 1, 2016 in Barren Ridge Church of the Brethren by the Rev. Galen Combs and Rev. Russell Heinrich Visitation and meal to follow the service in the church fellowship hall.
