    GLEN WESLEY AUSTIN

    April 26, 1937 - February 25, 2012

    GLEN W. AUSTIN STAUNTON, VA.. Glen Wesley Austin, 74, husband of Beatrice Ann (Dillon) Forinash Austin, died Saturday, February 25, 2012, at Augusta Health, Fishersville. He was born April 26, 1937, in Lynchburg, a son of the late Richard Wesley and Dorothy Frances (Wilmer) Austin. Mr. Austin was a veteran of the U. S. Navy. Prior to retirement, he was employed by Mundet-Hermetite. He was a member of American Legion Post #13 and Bethany Presbyterian Church. He was a most loving, caring husband, grandfather, and friend. In addition to his wife, whom he married on April 22, 2000, family members include, three sons and two daughters-in-law, David Austin of Craigsville, John and Rebecca Forinash of Virginia Beach, and Jeffrey and Wendy Forinash of Moncks Corner; two daughters and sons-in-law, Vicki Lynn and David Stephenson of Santa Ana, CA and Kathy Michelle and Chris Wright of Buena Vista; the mother of his children, Kathy Kirby; grandchildren, Zackary and Katie Lynn Wright, Kayla and Autumn Stephenson, Melanie Meadows, Travis, Chelsea, Bradley, Shelby, Caleb, and Jack Forinash; a great grandson, Mason Scott Forinash; and a very special aunt, Virginia Thacker of TN. A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, February 28, 2012, in Bethany Presbyterian Church by the Rev. Les LaPrade. Burial will follow in Oak Lawn Mausoleum and Memory Gardens. Active pallbearers will be John Ralston, Randy Swisher, John Racliff, George Kyle, and Hughie Harrison, Bob Wilfong, Travis Forinash, and Bradley Forinash. Honorary pallbearers will be friends of B.B. The family will be receiving friends from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Church and other times at the residence. Memorials may be made to Bethany Presbyterian Church, 2501 Fifth Street, Staunton, VA 24401.
