Glenn Allen Fulwider

STAUNTON, VA…  Glenn Allen Fulwider, 85, husband of Rosie (Glover) Fulwider of 205 Norwood Drive, died Friday, February 9, 2018 at his residence.            He was born November 19, 1932 in Staunton, a son of the late James William “Billy” and Bessie (Hughes) Fulwider.      He was a graduate of Wilson Memorial High School, Class of 1951, the first graduating class with four years at Wilson.       Mr. Fulwider was a veteran of the U.S. Army, discharged in 1958, after serving in Germany.           Prior to retirement, he was employed by J.M.U. as a building inspector.            He was a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church.            In addition to his wife, family members include a daughter, Melodye, and nieces and nephews.            In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Carl and Clarence “PeeWee” Fulwider. A private graveside service was conducted at Augusta Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Shenandoah, c/o Augusta Health Foundation, P. O.
