Grace Henderson Brooks

GRACE H. BROOKS STUARTS DRAFT - Grace Henderson Brooks, 81, widow of Mack W. Brooks, Sr., went to be with Jesus on Monday, May 25, 2015 at Augusta Health. She was born November 26, 1933 in Lyndhurst, daughter of the late Willie Thomas and Elsie Elizabeth (Lowe) Henderson. She was a faithful member of Stuarts Draft Mennonite Church. Before retiring, Mrs. Brooks was a clerk for Augusta Co-operative Farm Bureau. Family includes her son, Mack W. "Bill" Brooks, Jr. of Stuarts Draft; two daughters and a son-in-law, Deborah Jean Brooks of Stuarts Draft, and Debra and Jack Wade of Augusta County; two brothers, Ronnie Edward Henderson and James Preston Henderson, both of Stuarts Draft; and two sisters, Myrtle Madaline Henderson Troxel of Staunton, and Jean Aleis Henderson Ritchie of Lyndhurst; a granddaughter, Angeline Sensabaugh Batten; and a great grandson, Austin Falls. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Arthur Austin Henderson, Robert Thomas Henderson, and William Wayne Henderson; a daughter-in-law, Pam Brooks, and a grandson, Nathan Sensabaugh, II. A memorial service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday at Stuarts Draft Christian Fellowship by Pastor Brett Perrett. Interment will be private in Mt. Vernon Church of the Brethren Cemetery.
