Gary Wayne Hevener, 76, husband of Brenda (Reeves) Hevener, passed away on December 18, 2021 at his home.

Gary was born on February 20, 1945, to the late Virgil L. and Elizabeth (Roby) Hevener Lilley.

Gary served in the United States Navy from 1962 to 1965. He retired from Western State Hospital and then began working with his twin brother at the Verona Antique Mall.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Tim & wife Tiffany Hevener, Steven & wife Renée Hevener, and Doug Reeves & Lisa Landrum; his sisters, Ada & Pete Campbell and Patti & CT Mawyer; his brothers, Virgil Hevener, twin Larry & Sandy Hevener, Doug & Dana Hevener, and Ronnie & Jennifer Hevener; his grandchildren, Desttany, Dakota, Jacob, Zachary, Andrew, and Presley; his great-grandchildren, Marley, Jack, Paisley, and Titan; his special friend, Roger Allen; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, is preceded in death by his step-father, Don Lilley; his sister, Carolyn Perry; his sister-in-law, Connie Hevener; his wife, Shelva Hevener; his grandsons, Timothy Hevener and Allen Reeves, and his niece, Elizabeth Hevener.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Henry Funeral Home.

A graveside service will be conducted on Thursday, December 23, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at Thornrose Cemetery by Reverend Russell Heinrich.
