Gaynell (Smith) Cash

GAYNELL S. CASH STAUNTON, VA Gaynell (Smith) Cash, 83, widow of Alexander M. Cash, of 269 White Oak Gap Road, died Sunday, November 15, 2015, at her residence. She was born August 11, 1932, in Alleghany, a daughter of the late John F. and Flora (Rhoades) Smith. Family members include a son, Alexander Murphy Cash Jr. and wife, Janice, of Greenville; two daughters, Penny D. Cash and Art Hugill of Mint Spring and Diane Cash Wright of Fluvanna County; three sisters, Hilda Mosley and Gloria Ann King, both of Covington, and Nette Rodriguez of New Jersey; two grandchildren, Ryan Walker Cash of Greenville and Lindsey Dunivan and husband, Dusty, of Nelson County; numerous nieces and nephews; and a special caregiver, Sonya Renaudette. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters and three great grandchildren. A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, November 17, 2015, in Bethel Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the residence at any time.
