HELEN H. COX WAYNESBORO - Mrs. Helen Evangeline (Hite) Cox, 95, widow of William E. Cox, died at 2:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 08, 2012 in Royal Care Senior Living. She was born August 5, 1917 in Augusta County, daughter of the late Otto Gaylor and Mammie (Swisher) Hite. Mrs. Cox retired from DuPont after 39 years of service. She was a member of Mt. Carmel Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed traveling, listening to country music, and following National politics. Family members include a number of cousins and their children. She was preceded in death by her brother, Hunter Hite, of Weyers Cave in April, 1988. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 in Augusta Memorial Park.
