Helen Mclelland

Helen Margaret (Inge) McLelland, 96, widow of Paul E. McLelland, of 3935 Sunnnyside Drive, died Friday, November 9, 2012 in her residence. She was born October 7, 1916, in Bedford County, a daughter of the late A. W. "Pat" and Nora (Millner) Inge. Prior to retiring, Mrs. McLelland was a pre-school teacher at VSDB. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church. Family includes a daughter and son-in-law, Frances M. and Robert E. Gleason of Grandville, MA; a granddaughter, Mary Helen Nutty Smith and her husband, Steven; and two great grandchildren, Austin and Savanna Smith. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters. Per her request, there will be no formal services. Memorials may be made to the Sunnyside Presbyterian Retirement Community Benevolent Fund, 3935 Sunnyside Drive, Harrisonburg, VA 22801.
