Hilda Veronica Heider

HILDA S. HEIDER STAUNTON, VA Hilda Veronica (Sedlmeier) Heider, 86, widow of George Robert Heider, of 512 Houston Street, died Tuesday, January 15, 2013, in Augusta Health, Fishersville. She was born December 14, 1926, in Ergoldsabach, Germany, a daughter of the late Joseph and Veronika Sedlmeier . Prior to retirement, Mrs. Heider was a self-employed seamstress. She enjoyed cooking, crafting, bird watching, and especially spending time with her family. In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by a daughter, Carol N. Rogers; two brothers; and three sisters. Family members include two sons and a daughter-in-law, George Robert Heider, II of Jay, Florida and John R. and Pam Heider of Staunton; a daughter and son-in-law, Christie and Bob Hall of Dothan, Alabama; fourteen grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren. A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 19, 2013, in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
