Hilda Bloomfield Ralston

HILDA G. RALSTON STAUNTON, VA Hilda Bloomfield (Good) Ralston, 91, widow of Paul Melvin Ralston, of 500 C Street, died Sunday, August 5, 2012, at Augusta Health, Fishersville. She was born December 3, 1920, in Centerville, a daughter of the late John Franklin and Pearl (Evers) Good. Prior to retirement, Mrs. Ralston was employed by King's Daughters' Hospital. She was a member of Bethany Presbyterian Church where she enjoyed women's circle meetings. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Bernice Michael; and a nephew, Donald Michael. Family members include a daughter, Susann Gail Ralston of Swoope; two sisters, Leatrice Gibson and Jean Barr; two nieces, Jackie Compton and her husband Bill, and Carol Weik and her husband David; two nephews, Steve Gibson and his wife Vicky, and Robert Barr and his wife Ayse; two great nieces, Heather and Dusty; and a great nephew, David. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 10, 2012 in Augusta Memorial Park by the Rev. Lester LaPrade. Active pallbearers will be Mark Peduto, Greg Peduto, Brian Peduto, Steve Reynolds, Steve Koiner, and Chris Simmons. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 9, 2012 in the Henry Funeral Home. The family expresses their deepest appreciation to the Staff of King's Daughters' Health and Rehab Center and to the ER Staff and ICU Staff of Augusta Health.
