Henry Karl Wubbels, 63, of Middlebrook, died Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at Augusta Health.
He was born September 6, 1957 in Elizabeth, New Jersey, a son of the late Heinrich Luppo Gerhard and Susanna Christina (Weimann) Wubbels.
Henry was employed by Wegmans as a produce clerk. He loved the mountains and entertaining friends.
Family members include a brother, Gerhard Wubbels of Perkasie, PA; a sister and brother-in-law, Sieglinde and Paul Davis of Triangle; a niece, Christina Davis of Alexandria; a nephew, Craig Davis of Triangle; special friend, Joseph Briglia; very beloved dog, Coco; and cousins and many wonderful friends.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, March 12, 2021, in Redeemer Lutheran Church by the Rev. Lance Braun. Burial will follow in Mt. Hermon Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
Memorials may be made to the Augusta Regional SPCA, P.O. Box 2014, Staunton, VA 24402.
