Irene Vargo

IRENE T. VARGO COLONIAL HEIGHTS, VA Irene Trainum Vargo, 87, formerly of Staunton, VA died Monday, November 4, 2013 at Colonial Heights Health Care and Rehabilitation Center in Colonial Heights, VA. She died after a brief illness. Irene was born on November 19, 1925 in Fordwick, Virginia to Ira D. and Nell A. Trainum. The family later moved to Staunton, VA where Irene grew up. Irene graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in 1942 and also from Dunsmore Business College. Irene is survived by her daughter, Ann F. Vargo of Chesterfield, VA and also many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, George F. Vargo, parents, Ira D. Trainum and Nell A. Trainum, brother, Dewey L. Trainum, brother, Donald A. Trainum and sister, Betty T. Crute (Trainum). Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, Nov. 8 from 5-7 p.m. at Henry Funeral Home. Services will be held on Saturday, Nov. 9 at 2:00 p.m. also at Henry Funeral Home.
