James Allen Moore

JAMES A. MOORE VERONA, VA James Allen Moore, 63 widower of Shelby Jean (Runion) Moore, of 12 Ardmore Street, died Wednesday, February 22, 2012, at his residence. He was born January 2, 1949, in Staunton a son of the late Roby James and Ruby Lee (Cash) Moore. Mr. Moore was a veteran of the U. S. Marines having served during Vietnam War. He was employed by Cerro Metals. Family members include a son and daughter-in-law, James "Junie" A. Jr., and Mallie L. Moore of Waynesboro; a daughter, Teresa L. Bolton and her fiance`, Bobby Barker of New Hope; three sisters, Doris Jean Fitzgerald of Churchville, Charlotte Elaine Gardner and Rachel Sue Rowe, both of Staunton; four grandchildren, Destiny Hope Bolton, Kaitlyn, James, Joey, and Desiree Rexrode and family; nieces and nephews, Britney Rowe and Anthony Rowe. A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, February 27, 2012, in the Henry Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Oak Lawn Mausoleum and Memory Gardens. Active pallbearers will be his special "brother buddies" Keith Stawderman, Dennis Young, Tony Young, and Garry Parrish, and Brian Luckado and Bobby Barker. The family will receive friends from 7 until 8:30 p.m. Sunday, February 26, 2012, in the funeral home.
