James Ronald Swearengin

JAMES R. SWEARENGIN STAUNTON, VA..James Ronald Swearengin, 58, of Staunton, died May 26, 2018. He was born March 8, 1960 in Waynesboro, a son of the late James Leo and Ernestine Kershner Swearengin. He took great pride in his contribution to his community in the construction of buildings at Augusta Health, Middle River Regional Jail, and Stonewall Jackson Hotel and Conference Center. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is survived by a son, James “J.T” Swearengin; a brother, John Timothy Swearengin; a sister, Kelly Britt; and a niece, three nephew, and a number of cousins. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, July 15, 2018, from 1 until 3 p.m. in the Henry Funeral Home.          Memorials may be made to Wilson Workforce Rehabilitation Center Foundation (wwrcf.org).
